Fournée is a magical bakery in Berkeley that makes French pastries better than many actual French patisseries. We recommend taking a pastry and coffee to the little alley around the corner (we call it “Local’s Alley”). From there you’ll be able to watch tennis through the fence at the Berkeley Tennis Club and admire the Claremont Hotel.
