This vintage design by Gregory Van Pelt is feels as modern today as it did in the 70's. This design is increasingly hard to come by in its original base and shade pairing. The sligtly oversize scale and texture would be right at home in a large room in need of an anchor.

Wooden bottom has been added to base for stability and shade has been repaired in a few spots, if you look closely. Overall, wear is as-expected given materials and age, with many more years of enjoyment ahead.
